What you give us

When you complete the enquiry form or phone us, we record what you provide. That is usually your name, a contact number, an email address, your suburb, the type and age of the building, which floor you are on, and a description of the room you want renovated. Calls may be logged, and in some cases recorded, so that enquiries can be routed and followed up.

At or after a measure you may also share photographs, floor plans, strata by-laws, renovation guidelines, meeting minutes, or test reports. Those are used only for the enquiry they relate to.

Please do not send bank details, card numbers or identity documents through this website. We will never ask for them here.

Why we use it

Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, arrange a measure, prepare a drawing and a quote, help assemble an owners corporation application where you ask us to, and keep in touch about that job. It is not used to build marketing lists for unrelated businesses.

Who else sees it

This website is a referral service. When you enquire, your details are passed to the licensed builder we work in partnership with, so they can contact you, attend the measure, quote, and if you proceed, carry out the work. From that point they manage your information under their own privacy practices.

Depending on the job, relevant details may also be shared with:

• a licensed asbestos assessor or removalist, where testing or removal is required
• your strata manager, building manager or owners corporation, where you ask us to help with an approval pack or a lift booking
• a regulator or authority, where the law requires it

Service providers

We use outside providers to host this website, manage enquiries and handle calls, including a customer relationship management system and a telephone service. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell personal information.

Storage and how long we keep it

Enquiry records are held securely for as long as they are needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet any legal record-keeping obligations, then deleted or de-identified. Records connected with hazardous materials may need to be kept longer where the law requires it.

This site may use cookies or similar tools to understand how visitors use it. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings and the site will continue to work.
